San Francisco closets have forced me to become a minimalist with not very much of anything. I miss how much closet space and storage space I used to have in texas! =(

those hanging things that make the rack in your closet become 2-tiered and those rolling garment racks on wheels became my best friends in SJ. and i'm sure you have it worse being in SF!

i'm living in a 1-bdrm w/ my bf right now and we have to share a [small] closet meant for 1 person. =( he uses 1/5 and i use 4/5 haha.

WOWWWWW you are right, you do have a lot of.. um... all those things! yay you posted a pic of your corkboard! where did you get it from?? i like it lots!! but i don't have too many necklaces. have more earrings and rings than anything else! and yeah that's lots of jesus. if i only saw that pic i woulda thought it was a mexican apartment you lived in hahha j/k j/k!!!!

i shop at all those places but every time i go to barney's i feel saddened because i can't afford any of their stuff!!!!

It's Barney's Co-Op! I wouldn't be able to afford the stuff at the regular Barney's either. =P So much cheaper, especially when they're having those additional 25% or 50% off sales! I got a pair of 7's and Citizens for like $40-$60 each. Oh and right now, if you bring in any old pair of jeans (doesn't have to be designer) and donate them, you get 20% off any regularly-priced jeans in the store. They're donating them to the Big Brother/Sister program so it's for a good cause too. =)

i got my corkboard from target. yeah i keep most of my necklaces on the corkboard but you can put earrings on there too. earrings with hooks and hoops can hang on there easily. stud earrings w/ the posts in the back go in my drawer organizer thing, along with my rings and bracelets. i also used to use those clear plastic thread organizer boxes w/ like 20 little compartments (like you used to use to store the string/beads to make friendship bracelets?) for smaller earrings and rings too.

my candles are from Fiesta lol....

hey i recognize the black tree branch thing from ikea! i contemplated buying it for christmas decorations last year, lol. wow so you just use regular pins for the corkboard? very good idea...

haha good eye! i stood at ikea trying to decide between black, yellow, and white one for the longest time.

i used to use regular push pins but discovered that using those ball point pins (those long pins w/ the colorful round heads) was better b/c they're longer. i push them into a board so they're angled up (like a hook) and it makes hanging jewelry so much easier!

Eh, I don't really have an excess of anything. If anything, I guess makeup and underwear. I can go at least three months and never wear the same pair twice.

my bf and i share a 1-bdrm so storage/closet space is really limited - which forces me to be organized!

i have a lot of makeup too. =| it's just not all in one place so i couldn't take a picture of it hahah. i keep the stuff that i currently use in my makeup drawer, but i have boxes and gallon-sized ziplock bags full of barely-use and brand new makeup under the sink. =(
